RTI, a European airgun maker, has introduced the exciting Priest 2 as a high value high performance choice to any shooter requiring a rifle that fills those needs. The Priest 2 is a diminutive airgun by most standards with amazing power and accuracy normally found on much larger rifles. The weight and compact nature of the Priest 2 make it the go to choice for a days hunting or backpack buddy. The Priest offers caliber change in minutes by shooters that want to experiment shooting 177 22 25 or 30 caliber from the same chassis. Spare barrel kits are available at a very fair price and come with the needed tool and fittings to change from caliber to caliber. The Priest accuracy and shots per charge is assured by the match grade CZ barrel and regulator system. A picatinny rail is standard for scope mounting to take advantage of the high accuracy and long range capabilities of this petite powerhouse. Cocking the gun is done by a straight pull bolt that has a spring loaded assist for closing. Cocking the Priest 2 is stiff however manageable and ultra fast. The Priest 2 has a new designed two stage trigger that is match quality and very adjustable. Down to the ounce adjustments are conveniently located on the right side of the breech block for easy access. The rifle sports a special fill nipple for tethering the rifle to a tank for backpack or bench use. Using the rifle tethered dramatically reduces the guns weight. Other shooter inspired features include a threaded 1/2” UNF muzzle for moderator use, a rail for bipod mounting, a multi shot magazine that can be used for right or left hand shooters, and a AR15 pistol grip. Two versions of the Priest 2 are available, Standard and Performance Package in Black or Tan Cerakote. The Performance Package includes a carbon fiber 580cc air tank, an adjustable regulator with two gauges, an extended butt plate with adjustable hammer spring, a 20 MOA rail and hard case. The Standard gun can be upgraded at additional cost. Whichever version is chosen the Priest 2 will deliver years of shooting pleasure!
