The Wolverine R HP HiLite in Walnut, by Daystate, is regulated by a Huma-Air regulator (R), which ensures consistent successive shots and also improves overall accuracy. This air rifle can be cocked with the comfortably operable side lever on the right side, which can be reversed to the left side, but only by certified craftsmen appointed by Daystate. The match-grade trigger features two stages, trigger pull and trigger weight of the first stage can be adjusted, while the trigger weight of the second stage can also be adjusted. Also, the trigger shoe can be adjusted in height and angle to fit the requirements of the shooter.
A safety lever is located on the rear of the action, this convenient placement makes it operable ambidextrously. The action and the rest of the metalwork feature a matte finish and a black anodised exterior to protect from wear and corrosion.
The walnut stock is suited for left- and right-handed shooters, and comes with a butt plate that can be adjusted in height and angle. An elevated cheek piece and comfortable pistol grip make sure that the PCP rifle can be embraced pleasantly, while the texturised grip and grooves in the forend provide better grip. A 480 cc pressurised air reservoir, which is made of carbon fibre (HiLite), contains enough pressurised air for 50 to 60 shots after it’s been filled up.
This HP (High Power) variant of the Wolverine R features a barrel of 23 inches (600 mm).
