- Ideal for creating the "antique look"
- for all non-ferrous metals
- Color depth can be individually determined over exposure time
With Nerofor non-ferrous metal stain you can color any non-ferrous metal. Whether brass or copper, you get a beautiful antique surface within minutes.
Application:
The metals to be dyed must be metallically pure before application. To do this, they first sand the parts to be stained with the finest steel wool. Then degrease the parts (e.g. with Ballistol cold degreaser). It is best to use a brush to apply Nerofor, smaller and especially filigree metal parts are better dipped. The stain reacts best if you heat it to approx. 30°C (maximum 35°C) before application or before dipping. After a short exposure time, the treated metal can be thoroughly rinsed off with warm water. Now all you have to do is dry the new silver, copper or brass with a soft cotton cloth or paper towel. To create a mate.
