In the Japanese mythology, the Kappa ("river child" in English) is a water goblin who lures heedless people to his shores to pull them in to drown.

- Sharpened Damascus steel blade, forged out of 1045 high carbon steel folded 12 times (8.000 layers).
- Blade in Shinogi-Zukuri-style with pronounced fuller (Bo-Hi).
- Red cotton hilt-wrapping in traditional Hineri-Maki-style.
- Wooden sheath with black high-gloss lacquer finish (Kuroro-style).
- Long handle-end fastened to the hilt with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi). The sword can thus be fully dismantled.
- Made of authentic high-quality materials only, no plastic used.
- Blade collar (Habaki) and washers (Seppa) made of brass.
- The traditional hilt-wrapping is completed by a genuine ray skin lining.
- All ornaments (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) made of metal and hand-crafted.
- Delivered in a protective cloth bag.
- All original John Lee swords supplied with seal and certificate of origin.

This remarkable Katana is enriched by hand-crafted ornaments depicting a Kappa and an unsuspecting wanderer. In addition to the beautiful colour, another special feature to be highlighted is the Bo-Hi, which starts about 10 cm above the Tsuba.

Details:
- Hilt length: approx. 29 cm
- Blade length: approx. 73 cm
- Overall length (without sheath): approx. 102.5 cm
