AEMS PRO X2 enhances the AEMS platform by improving accuracy through an advanced optical system that reduces parallax by 50%. AEMS X2 PRO also introduces a forward-facing light sensor creating a smarter AUTO Mode that improves dot contrast in dynamic lighting conditions while in AUTO Mode. AEMS X2 PRO also includes a new anti-reflective device and an all-new four post, lower 1/3 co-witness mount. AEMS X2 PRO remains backwards compatible with original AEMS mounts.
Solar Failsafe Technology is one of many innovations featured on solar-equipped Holosun optics. With Solar Failsafe, if your battery fails you always have a backup power source when natural or artificial light is available. Solar Failsafe is activated while in Auto Mode where reticle intensity is automatically adjusted based on the amount of light the solar cell receives. In brighter conditions, you have a brighter reticle and in lower-light conditions, the reticle will step down in intensity to match any lighting conditions. On models equipped with a supercapacitor, it is possible to run the optic, indefinitely, in daytime and night conditions, by maintaining a charge through the Solar Failsafe System all without a battery.
