This shaft is manufactured using the patented Hogue Overmolded process. A second soft plastic layer is injected over a hard plastic core. This gives the shaft an extremely grippy and non-slip surface. In addition, a "Pillar" bedding is integrated into the shaft. Here, two aluminum sleeves are cast in the shaft bed, which enable better assembly of the system.
